Basketball Champs!
The boys celebrated an undefeated basketball season! Sage played great defense this session and made several baskets including free throws for his team. Kai was out for most of the session with his broken finger, but played well when he came back. They had a large team and they never gave up even in the last three, nail biter games. Congrats, champs!

Christmas 2018
Four celebrations in three day with lots of love, laughter, presents, and happy memories.
Sunday was the Cline/Kelly Christmas complete with lunch, fighting over the new puppy, Grandma’s infamous scavenger hunt, stockings, gifts, games, and the money ball. The boys had a blast and enjoyed a cousin sleepover.
Monday was one side of the Kelly family where we were taking care of PawPaw who had double knee replacement the week before. We ate dinner, watched a Christmas movie, opened gifts, and enjoyed each other’s company.
Christmas Eve, the boys put out their cookies and carrots, listened to “The Night Before Christmas” and snuggled in their beds eagerly awaiting Santa.
Christmas morning, the boys woke up early and couldn’t wait to open presents!
Then, we spent most of the day at Granny’s house with everyone enjoying dinner and gifts.
Christmas evening, we relaxed at the house while the boys played with all their new games and toys. We also made a birthday cake for Aunt Keisha’s birthday. It was an awesome Christmas and the boys were spoiled!

Compassionate Kiddo
As we drove to school on Wednesday, Sage said, “I want all my friends to have that warm fuzzy feeling since it’s the holidays. I’m going to write each of them a compliment.”
I replied, “That’s nice, you better get started,” since the next day was the last day before the break.
After school that day, Sage came into my office with a sticky note listing every kid in his class and a word or two about each one. He asked me for a pack of sticky notes and started writing. I went to a meeting and when I came back to my office, he had finished writing a compliment for every person in his class including his teacher and a paraprofessional that works with one of his classmates.
The next morning, Sage happily bounded off to class to deliver his notes to his classmates. Later that afternoon, the para, Pat, stopped me in the hall and said, “Sage is the sweetest! Do you know what he did?” She proceeded to tell me how much his compliment touched her heart.
After school, Sage’s teacher asked to speak with me. She was teary eyed as she spoke about Sage’s compliments to the class and how excited the kids were as they would go up to her and say, “Look what Sagey wrote about me!” Mrs. Guccione told me how happy the kids were that morning. Even her most challenging kids smiled more that day because of Sage. She said Sage’s compliments were specific to each person and truly matched their strengths. She could tell he put a lot of thought into each one. Mrs. Guccione continued to tell me what a sweet boy Sage is and how we must be doing a great job as parents. I started getting all teary eyed too!
Needless to say, we are incredibly proud of Sage’s compassion for others and this act of kindness. We feel truly blessed to have such an awesome kid!

Snow Day 2018
The boys and I celebrated our first snow day in two years by spending nearly the whole day outside! It was an early snow on November 15th. We even went to Art Hill for the first time and it was awesome! We had so much fun that we didn’t care that our clothes were wet and and our bottoms were freezing!
Beautiful!!
Lando’s first snow!
We ended up with almost 7 inches!
