Busy Weekend

Last weekend, we had a family reunion for my mom's side of the family. That was nice because we haven't gotten together with that side of the family in a long time. In fact, this was the first time most of them had even seen Sage and he is 10 months old. It's kind of sad that we don't get together as much now that my grandma is gone.

But, we had a good time. Sage had his first pony ride and his first swing at a pinata. Mostly, he just loved playing with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. Check out the picture of him enjoying a taste of chocolate cake!

Sunday was Ella's 4th birthday party. It's hard to believe she's that old already. One more year until she starts school! Time flies! It was supposed to be a swimming party, but it stormed all afternoon. We made the best of it though.
