Eyes in the Back of My Head

So, I think I've convinced the boys that I have eyes in the back of my head. I've been telling them this is how I know what they're doing when I have my back turned to them. Don't all mom's?

The other day, Sage was playing in the kitchen as I was making dinner. He was behind me, jumping in circles, literally.
S: Mom, watch this!
M: I'm watching (as I continue cooking with my back turned to him)
S: (does his trick)
M: Cool!
S: No, mom. Watch me with the eyes on the front of your head!

Ha! Guess I need to pay more attention with the eyes on the front of my head.

Sledding Fun With PaPa

We finally made it out of the house yesterday thanks to PaPa who came and picked us up to take us sledding. We had a blast and I just love the boys' squeals of delight!

Kai even tried out his uncle's old snowboard. He did well.

Snowmageddon 2014

Snow fell in a hurry, accumulating over 12 inches in 12 hours. Temperatures dropped into the negatives and wind chills were downright dangerous. Monday morning the wind chill was -30! Since it was so cold, the nous didn't get to play outside long. But, here are some pictures.
