Camping Fun and Cinco de Mayo Easter
This weekend, the boys and I joined Uncle Jon, Aunt Sarah, Noah, and Charlotte for a weekend of camping fun at Pere Marquette State Park. Despite a rainy Friday night, we had a wonderful time. The kids rouse their bikes around the campground again and again reminding me of my own childhood spent riding bikes at campgrounds. They had cousin sleepovers in the primitive cabin, hiked, and played. We had a couple minor incidents with Kai pressing his forehead to the hot grill. Ouch! And, Sage taking a tumble on his bike. The kids did a great job of using the buddy system on that one.
