Proud Mom Moment

In August, when Sage and Kai were creating their invite list for their birthday party, Sage made me so proud. After he rattled off his close friends’ names, he said, “and Nathan.” I know Nathan from working at the school and know that he’s a boy with severe disabilities. Sage has known him since kindergarten.

Sage said he remembered that, last year, Nathan had written on his “All About Me” poster that his one wish was to be invited to a birthday party. Apparently in all his years, he hadn’t. We invited Nathan to the party and he had a great time! My heart was so full that Sage showed such compassion by including his special friend. It was definitely a proud mom moment.

Kelly Family Vacation - July 2018

In July, we enjoyed a Kelly family vacation to “The Blue House” in Panama City Beach, Florida. We spent 7 days with the whole Kelly and Frigerio family relaxing on the white sand beaches, cooling off in the clear ocean water, chatting by the pool, and family style breakfasts each day. The kids had a blast together. We even spent a day with the family of Jared’s army buddy, James in San Destin. It was a wonderful week!
