June 2014 Silver Dollar City

Sorry this is a few months late, but here are the pics from our family vacation to Silver Dollar City!

We had so much fun on our family vacation!  The boys absolutely loved spending time with their cousins.  Silver Dollar City was awesome - short lines, lots of shade, not too expensive, and plenty to do!  Honestly, compared to Disney the year before, I thought it was so much more enjoyable.  Sage's favorite ride was the Flooded Mine and we rode that multiple times, sometimes many in a row!  Kai's favorite ride was the train and he loved the hotel pool.  The whole trip was great!

One Last Splash!

It was a beautiful, warm September that carried over to the first day of October.  It was warm enough for one last splash in the fountain before the cold weather set in.  See you in the spring!

9-9-14 Happy 6th Birthday, Sage!!!

Happy 6th Birthday to our Sage man!  I can't believe he's already six!  Sage is fun, intelligent, and thoughtful.  He's always thinking and asking questions and has a fantastic memory.  At six, Sage loves learning, Mario Bros., Minecraft, running, swimming, and playing with his friends and family.  Happy Birthday, Sage!

9-6-14 LOUFEST!

We took the boys to their first music festival - LouFest!  We had a good time!

Sunday night - Outkast!  I've wanted to see Outkast live since I was in college and wasn't sure it would ever happen. But, it did!  Outkast headlined Sunday night of Loufest.  Jared and I went sans kids and had a blast! We danced and sang the whole set.  So fun!  Check that off my bucket list.

8-29-14 Birthday Fun and the Myseum!

We celebrated the boys' birthdays at the Myseum!  Friends and family joined us for pizza, cupcakes and tons of fun!  The Myseum was a great place and the boys were sad to leave.

8-22-14 Happy 5thBirthday, Kai Bear!

Happy 5th Birthday to our Kai Bear!  Kai always fills our lives with joy and laughter.  His laugh is infectious and his smile brightens even the darkest of moments.  Kai is super sweet and cares so much for others especially his family, friends, and animals.  At 5, Kai like superheroes, playing video games, basketball, swimming, and playing with his friends. Happy Birthday to our favorite 5 year old!

Superhero Saturday!

One of the days Sage still had his PICC line in, the boys and I pretended it was Superhero Saturday at Shaw Park.  They put on their favorite superhero costumes and headed to the park to save people.  Here are some pictures from our adventure.

First Day of School 2014

Kai started his last year of preschool on August 11, 2014.  He has the same teacher, Mrs. Jenkerson, and was very excited to see his friends again.

Sage started KINDERGARTEN!!!  His teacher is Ms. Schneider.  Sage is going to Pierremont which is with his mommy!  It's so fun to see him during the day.
