Jamaica Family Vacation

At the end of December, we had the most amazing family vacation to beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica! Grandma and Papa took the whole family, all 13 of us, on a week long tropical adventure. We stayed at the beautiful Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. The trip was nearly perfect with one lost bag (Papa's) on the way there. But, no worries, Mon! Here are our top ten favorites about the trip:
10) kayaking, snorkeling, swimming, and other water sports



9) the delicious food (I think we all gained 5+ pounds)









And the drinks (Dirty Bananas and Bob Marleys for the adults, Mickey Mouses and Pina Coladas for the kids)












8) The people of Jamaica were amazing and so friendly!















7) the entertainment - Each night the resort had a kids show in which they performed.











6) arguing over the direction of the ceiling fans at fun, family dinners
5) the beach! Beautiful turquoise waters and white sand beaches. Beach parties at night. Beach barbecues during the day. The kids played for hours on the beach each day.






























4) an unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration complete with steak and shrimp dinner, a Bob Marley tribute, a magic show, a crazy beach party with a DJ and live band and hundreds of people, all topped off with a dramatic fireworks display at midnight!






























3) Dunn River Falls - so fun!!






























2) Dolphin Cove - This was so amazing! The joy, laughter, and beaming smiles from the kids and adults was incredible. Pepe, our dolphin, danced, leaped, swam, and kissed right into our hearts.

It was a once in a lifetime trip that we will cherish the memories made forever!
