Bedtime routines have always been incredibly important to the boys. Sage, especially, loves a good routine and makes us go through each part of the process each night. Lately, the boys have added a new piece to their bedtime routine: “Bro Chats.” Now, after showers, teeth brushing, good night hugs, and prayers, Sage and Kai spend a good 5-10 minutes talking before they go to sleep. They talk about school, friends, games, and family. They make plans for the next day, the summer, and far into the future. They giggle, laugh, and occasionally yell. Sometimes, we have to shut it down so they can sleep. I love that they have added their Bro Chats to their nighttime routine. I love that they are such good friends.
