The Force Awakens!

Over the last several weeks, we have shared the "Star Wars" series with the boys. We watched the first six episodes in preparation for this weekend's release of the latest episode, "The Force Awakens." Jared wanted to see at the Omnimax theater at the Science Center. It was great! The movie was all you could want in a Star Wars film. The boys loved it! And, it was the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the family.

Basketball

Love That Laugh!

Out at dinner tonight and a woman came up to us on her way out the door. She said, "Excuse me, I don't know which one of your sons it is, but he has the best laugh." We both look at Kai. The woman continues, "His laugh is so full of joy. It made our night." - What a wonderful compliment! And so very true.

Sage Shoots and Scores

Three Piggy Opera

He Shoots, He Scores!

Kai scored his first baskets in a game yesterday! He was super excited and so were mom and dad! It's basketball season and this is the first time they are playing actual games. Although they aren't actually keeping score, it's much more intense than the little kid stuff they did in past years. Here are some videos from week two. I didn't capture Kai's baskets, but have some video of both of them with the ball.

Top Dog!

Kai was Top Dog this week for his kindergarten class. He got to share a poster and pictures that told all about him, be the line leader all week, and read with Buddy (the class mascot). Here is a poster his classmates made that lists their top 10 favorite things about Kai.
