Everyday Matters

Two things today...
1) wonderful grandparents always willing to lend a helping hand
2) moments of genuine affection between Sage and Kai - pats on the back, hugs, words of encouragement (Don't cry Bubba, it's a sunny day!)

You Know You've Become a Parent When...

- you finally understand the value of life insurance
- your first thought when you find out the kids will be out of the house for a few hours is "Yes! I can clean under the couch!" (pathetic, I know)...
-you find yourself researching characters on kids shows (Jared looked up the DJ on "Yo Gabba Gabba")
- you find yourself researching song lyrics to "The Rubber Ducky Song" instead of the latest song by your favorite artist
- you shower with rubber ducks, nesting cups, pirate ships, foam letters, and various other play toys
- at least one conversation a day with your spouse is in regards to the consistency of your child's poop
- nothing makes you feel more love than a smile, hug, or kiss from the little ones
