My First 5K!

On Saturday morning, I ran my first official 5K race. I started training months ago with the Couch to 5K app on my phone. Back then, I could barely run two minutes at a time. But, Saturday, I ran the full 35 minutes and 34 seconds it took me to finish. Not only that, but it was raining the whole time!

I am very proud of myself for setting this goal and working so hard to achieve it. In the process, I've lost over 20 pounds - woo hoo! Thank you to my friends for inspiring me and supporting me in reaching my goal.
